A qualified RD1st coach and an accredited Premier Adviser, Carol can deliver support directly in one to one sessions or group training and workshop environments. She is an experienced project manager who can initiate, deliver and evaluate programmes in a solo role or as a team leader.

Education

Many creative graduates become self employed or set up their own company soon after graduation. It is vital that they make the best possible transition from academia into their chosen profession.

Carol Sinclair has been working with academic institutions for the last 25 years, delivering workshops for staff and students, managing individual projects and strategic policy development.

Operating across disciplines including Design, Music, Fine Art, Architecture, Theatre, Craft, Fashion, Literature, Film, TV and Animation, has given Carol an understanding of the subtle differences as well as the common themes in current creative professional practice.

Carol has a series of workshops from which institutions can select the appropriate level or subject matter to suit module requirements. Alternatively Carol is happy to work with individual departments to create a specific programme or module.

With 25 years of experience to draw from, Carol can create a bespoke programme of support to individual creative practitioners. Organisations

Carol has undertaken the delivery of advising, training and coaching services on behalf of a variety of organisation including Cultural Enterprise Office, British Council and NESTA. This has provided experience of working with every type and scale of creative organisation and at all stages of development. Carol has created and delivered bespoke support programmes, train the trainer sessions and has particular experience in mentor and leadership training for clients including Starter for 6, Creative Edinburgh and Fife Cultural Trust. Sinclair Wilson has a growing pool of freelance Associates who can provide additional expertise in areas including innovation, digital, event management, marketing and organisational development.

There is a growing international dimension to the work undertaken by Carol Sinclair through her company Sinclair Wilson Ltd.
